It’s time to shine for our Blue Tongue Crew! The stage is set, with the launch of our exciting new program, the Blue Theatre Company!
Whether you’re born to take the spotlight, or you’re ready to come out of your shell through performance, there’s a role for everyone, as we prepare, rehearse, design and stage our own theatrical production.
We’re joined for our first term by two talented guest facilitators, accomplished actors and WAAPA graduates, Laura Shaw and Jack Twelvetree, who’ll guide our Blue Tongue Crew through the process of creating an epic one-night-only performance. Driven by the Crew’s own interests and preferred pursuits, it’ll be a deeply collaborative process, exploring creative outlets such as dance, singing and acting.
This exciting new program is being offered for 10 week terms as an additional extra to our regular day programs:
Toowoomba: Wednesdays, 12:30pm – 2:30 pm at BTA Toowoomba
Brisbane: Mondays and Thursdays, 12:30pm-2:30pm at Thorneside Hall (transport provided)
The first term program will culminate in an immersive night of artistic expression, with the performance set to coincide with our annual Art Showcase. Stay tuned for more details about the big night!
